About Andrea Anderson
Andrea Anderson, LPC, NCC is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor with a private practice in McLean, Virginia. She received a Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from Regent University as well as a diploma in ministry from Living Faith Training Center. She was the president of Northern Virginia Licensed Professional Counselors (NVLPC) from 2011 to 2012. Andrea is certified to be a Licensed Supervisor for the VA Board of Counseling to provide supervision for Resident in Counseling candidates.
Andrea is the Founder and CEO of Life Change LLC which provides consultation services to include: Conducting presentations/seminars/workshops, training counselors in the field on new treatment methodology, and supplementing skills and knowledge base of licensed professionals and ministry staff.
Her clinical focus is on the care and treatment of adults; providing individual and couples counseling.
Clients come to Andrea with insurmountable issues and weighty challenges that present themselves in everyday life. Problems are meant to be dealt with as part of the therapeutic process, but without purpose, the issue becomes the purpose and leads to more issues which become self-defeating
Experience has taught her that drawing out a client’s innate, unique giftedness allows them to discover something of greater value so they can move beyond the presenting problem. This discovered purpose is also the catalyst through which hope is realized; an element necessary to assist in bringing about complete wholeness.
